Can anyone tell me if 165/70 12 tires will fit my 1985 Mini. (12" Minilight replica rims)
I tried 145/12 and they were too tall and hit the front of the swing arm.

I am running a Mini with Minilite replicas and 165/60 12 from Falken. 165/60 12s are no bigger in diameter than 145/70 10s! I am unfamilar with the 165/70s. I would seek the 165/60s; They can be found in Canada and here in the US.

Perhaps the 145 12s were the 80 series? I have heard that they do not fit well. I know the 80 series spare that came with my Mini did not even fit in the boot!
