My 1971 midget has 155/80/13s on it right now. Will 175/70/13s fit on the original wheels without rubbing?

Kim, 175's should be perfectly fine on the '71. I ran 185-70s on a '65 with only a minor rub at the rear during hard high speed cornering. The '65 now has 175's on it with no indication of rub at all.
Incidentally, the Sumitomo's seem to be a good choice for tires right now. I'm putting a set on a '72 shortly.

Thanks bugeye58 I was hoping that would work. I'm trying to go for the look I like with some performance too. I want use this car for a daily driver in the summer and I have had real good luck with these tires Firehawk on another vehicle and they have them in 175/70/13 and thats what I'm going to go with. I really like the look of the squared off corners on these tires.

I decided to go with the Firehawks and I just put them on today(they came in Thursday). I had just painted the wheels and tried not to scratch them much. I took a picture, and exept for the finger smudges on the crome, that I forgot to wipe off before snapping the pic. I think they turned out pretty well.
