Tires for BT7

I stood the wheel from my Healey with a 165-15 Michelin on it next to the Coker red line on the TR6, and the Coker tire was 1" taller. Granted, there was no load on the Healey tire, but considering how much empty space there is in the Healey's wheel wells with the 165 it's hard to believe the red line won't work.

BT7's ride pretty low. There's only 26 1/2 inches from the ground to the outside top of the wheel well. The Coker redline might work on BJ7's or BJ8's.

When I saw how the 165s look on my BT7, I almost wished I had gone for the 185s. Didn't want to sacrifice the steering feel, though.
