Don't tempt me, John! Tomorrow is March, thank God, which truly means we can start thinking about spring, anyway...

I'm feeling like spring right now, as a matter of fact ! Just came in from an hour-long jaunt out in the B, having woken it up from a two-month nap. I put a brand new battery in, and it just roared to life.

Of course, I had to back out through a foot of snow that was piled up in front of my little portable garage, but that was no problem for the B.

Nothing like a little road trip in the B to make you think it's springtime! March is the month I hope to get serious about getting some work done on her to get ready for the season.,..

We had more snow last night and today and the roads are just white with salt. Good time for my B to be in the body shop. I hope to get it back just in time for Spring driving.

April 20th, first British car event of the year up here in Ontario, can't wait....

Ancaster British Car Flea Market, always a good day. Eight weeks away, I'm starting to count now!

On the west coast we are really looking for snow and rain!! 28 mm of preciptation in Vancouver for Feb!! 10% of the normal!! The mean temp in Vancouver was 2'C warmer than the average!! It is crazy!!

RAIN! Every friggin' day for the last 8 days!

It's a shame to do that to a car, even a Miata ;o)
Now a Porsche, on the other hand..........

Not in SE Michigan, broke another record this morning... -3F (-18C), with windchill it's -17F (-27C). Didn't want to poke my nose out of the sheets and get my butt to work today!

Gee. Only -18C.We hope to get up to that this week.Last couple of days it has been -33C.Windchill temp was - 48 saturday evening.Milder weather is supposed to be coming this week. Can't complain as thursday and friday were great.went skiing both days.Wasn't bad on the trails through the bush.

My freezing my a$$ off day just went from bad to worse to great! At about 9:15am all the fire alarms in our building went off, to cries of "You can't be serious, this has got to be someones idea of a stupid joke." No joke, there we all were, close to 500 people, standing in the parking lot in -3F weather plus the windchill watching three firetrucks from Novi fire dept charging up the road! Not a day to be standing outside, still, the good news is that they closed the building and sent everyone home for the day! So here I am now, eating my lunch at home wondering whether I should wash the floors this pm or do the laundry! Not a great choice maybe, but hey, beats being at work and I'll get paid for it too!!!

Well, I had a fun day!

After a predicted overnight low of minus 32 celcius I got up 6:15 in the morning to head off to work and the car wouldn't start! (I even plugged in the block heater) Tried a few times, then gave up and called in to work to say I would be late. My roommate got up and we tried to jump start the car, no bones! So he gave me a lift to work and I finally got there two hours late(fortunately we both work close to each other).

After getting home from work this afternoon the car started fine! Hooray! But why not this morning?!

Oh well, the adventure of life continues...
