This is very cool - not sure if it has been posted before

according to it, the best substitutes for a 145/13 tire is either a 155/80 R13 or a 175/70 R13. I can buy the 155 for $29 and the 175 for $39. Any thoughts as to driveability/ looks etc. Can anyone post a "right angle" picture to compare?

I had the 155's cause lets face it $20 is a steal, but they do have a higher profile than the 145 metric tire.

I'm using the 155/80 on the Tunebug -- because that's what was there when I bought it. Seems to fill the arches nicely. Haven't driven it enough to know of any performance issues, though.

I have used the 155/80s for years and have not had any issues with them except a bit of tire rub inboard on extreme wheel lock!
