I know it is going in the wrong direction but....My bugeye sits toooo low in the front end and the header pipe/exhaust will just bottom out at the track...

What can I do, easily, to raise the front just a little bit?
I was thinking some washers under the front shocks?
The tires get a little rub as well, although rolling the fenders helped with that some.
 
A few washers between the body and bottom of the motor mount brackets?

I've done this for exactly the reason you stated and it worked fine for me.

No, don't touch the shocks.

If you can't move the engine up a bit because the exhaust has nowhere to go, you will need to raise the suspension a tad. The only way to do that is longer front springs or add a spacer to shim the springs.

Do it in a way that doesn't allow the spacer to pop out at full travel......
 
Is it stock front end parts? Do you know the method they used to lower it. (all springs?) Some use 1/2" to 3/4" Spacers between the spring pan and a-arm to get it lower, you could start by removing those or making smaller ones. My tires rub the inner fenders too. Time to cut off Im thinking.
 
Or, go to a through the tunnel exhaust. :smirk:
Adding washers under the shocks will change the camber setting, not the ride height.
