Hi guys - any safe tips to pass along on how to keep these from moving while installing the fuel tank?

A little DumDum or contact cement works, or something sticky works.

I've used spray adhesive and rubber cement with good results before on the TR8 foam strips. If the foam is bad, you can get rubber/foam gaskets that are used for sealing boat hatches at Walmart and similar places.
