My new British Wiring harness for the 3A did not include grommets but they're easy enough to slide on at the bulkhead.

I also plan on purchasing a set of bullet crimpers to add the bullet connectors when I install the harness (soon). Too cold right now.

My trouble with taking "lots of pictures" is that I do my own work, so it takes three times as long to do a project if I stop and photo document everything. Ususally, I just take before and after shots. But I'll try to post a couple of photos of the wiring job.

Peter, if you get the crimpers from British Wiring, spring for the good, ratchet type. Well worth the extra cost. I've got a set you can borrow if the need should arise.

Thanks Jeff. I heard that those are the "good" ones to get. Probably get my own set because I need them at times other than for the harness replacement.

PeterK:

I use my British Wiring bullet crimping tool all the
time for home projects and when working on my boat. It
is a good all around tool.

You are very fortunate you have the knowledge that photos
are not required. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/yesnod.gif

I have thousands of restoration photos because I need them
when I screw things up. That way I can look thru the photos
and go back in time to when things were still proper.

My gazillion photos really came in handy when I gutted the
front suspension to install new. For me, my camera is an
important tool.
