If you don't mind me asking. How much did you pay for your car? If you think that it's too personal, I understand.
I don't think I've ever read what you paid for it.

The car was a gift to me purchased by my wife.
She paid Pedro $10,000. for the "almost 100% restored
to factory showroom condition" 1969 TR6.
I have added about another $34k in parts and repairs.
No engine repairs (yet), the car is totally stock.
The radiator blew up the 2nd day we owned the car and it
quickly went downhill $$ from there. A partial list of
the parts that broke and had to be replaced. I drove the
car 67 miles total during the 1st year I owned it. I am
still under 300 miles for year 2007.

I think it is wonderful your wife bought you a LBC. What a nice thing to do.
As frustrating as it may have been and yet may be, it must have been some what satisfying as you stuck with it.
Moneys money, but ya can't take it with you. Grooving on that feeling when you have fixed something and its all working and talking to you is priceless.
