Tinster and the hurricane

I was just watching the weather channel and I saw some ugliness down in the southern area in and all around PR.

Isn't our intrepid TR6 specialist for Puerto Rico on a cruise in the middle of that mess?

Paul
If I remember correctly the cruise was headed towards Mexico.
We're not sure if that's right, but Annie and I have been watching the weather as a curiosity and concern.
I hope all is well
Dave

We can only hope not too much damage will be inflicted.

Not on Puerto Rico from the hurricane but on Amos when Dale gets back and gets his tools out again.

Ahhh.....the storm is heading west...towards Mexico, according to the Doppler.

I thought he was headed for Aruba. That's south of Puerto Rico.

Yea, Aruba was 1 of the destinations. I'm sure he got some wild surf at least. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/pukeface.gif

Hope all is well aboard, wherever they are.

And as just about all cruise ships nowadays have internet access, I suspect we'd have received any Tinster reports by now.

At least he hasn't been in a 5.6 earthquake like our California folks!

Yep, it got my attention, lasted about 30 seconds, no damage. Brought back memories of the 89 Loma Prieta quake where we lost 6 folks here in Santa Cruz.

And a good jolt it was! More exciting than scary though! Well, the cat thought it was pretty scary....

I must be getting old, Mrs. Howell (the beauty in red) is looking great, the other women look like jail bait....

You must be really old! Mrs Howell would now be 106 years old, She was actually 65 or 66 when that picture was taken.
Ginger is now 73 (31 in the picture) and Mary Ann just turned 69 (27 in the picture). When the show was on, the question among guys was "Ginger, or Mary Ann?".

(please excuse the thread hijack, I'm a Gilligans Island junkie, I even have the original pilot on tape)
