Tinster aka Dale

Dale's wife Wendy sent out a message via Facebook to his friends there - Dale was hospitalized recently with blood clots in his lungs and leg. The blood thinners are working and the prognosis is good. She will send updates when there is more news. Dave Reese and I thought some of the members here would want to know.

I was just thinking today that we have not seen any post from him in a while. Hope the best.

Yep - he's been through a lot. Thanks for the update, Peter.

Prayers to Dale and the family. I too noticed no postings of late. I often wondered where he got "Tinster" from. Anyone know? I do recall he has quite a sense of humor.

Judy, back in the day, architects made models of their designs from tin, thus Tinster
He has not been well for awhile. I talk to him somewhat regularly. Miss him, I had fun in PR with him and Wendy

I'm friends with him on facebook as well. He's had some pretty major ups and downs (mostly downs) lately. We're hoping for a trip to FL this summer, with a visit. Dale and Wendy are two of the nicest people I've ever met. I wish I could do more to help them out.

That's too bad about Dale. He and Wendy will get some prayers from my corner.

Dale, the place hasn't been the same since you left here. Have missed you. God be with you Dale and Wendy.

Here is the latest from Wendy on Facebook:

"Good news! Dale came home from the hospital last night. Starting today he is to report back every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for outpatient physical therapy and blood checks, then visits to both of his doctors next week. Busy days but worth it to have him home and making progress."

That is such wonderful news. Some of us can take a deep breath now. Hugs and prayers from this member.
