Timmins Thursday Night

For those who don't know, Timmins is a mining town of about 40000 about 425 miles north of Toronto. I'm here for a couple a days for meetings. Love the people but it is a grey drizzly day and I can't ever seem to get the Lyrics of My Little Town out of my head.

I passed by on the highway once in 2003 on the way to Iroquois Falls, never did actually go into Timmins... Seemed like an exciting place... :wink:

Also spotted an Austin Cambridge on that same trip, sitting right on the highway in front of an antique dealer in a small town in that general area, the name escapes me now...
 
I've been up and down the highway enough times to know it's gone - did see a nice looking Austin 1800 in a driveway near Kapuskasing - still not sure how it got there.
 
I believe there was a British Saloon Car Club member up that way who owns an 1800, don't know if he's still a club member... As I recall I was planning to visit him on that 2003 trip, but I couldn't drive from Iroqouis Falls to Cochrane because of a road accident that night, so I was unable to connect with him... This is probably the car you've seen

rain rain rain today - flooding rain actually. One more workshop and time to head south.
