Timing Pointer

New owner needing some input. Has anyone moved or mounted a second Timing pointer on a 948 bug eye? Mine is a race car with a front tilting hood. With the hood open it is extremely hard to see the timing marks and the pointer. If you have either moved the pointer or added a second one to a more convenient place directions/part used and photos would be a big help. Also posted in "Spridget" forum.
