Timing chain

I tried to order an AE chain from BP northwest, but they are out of stock and said at least 2 months to get.
So I put on the new one I got from VB.

Now the chain is no longer loose, but is quite tight. Maybe too tight? There is no deflection at all, and some resistance to turning over the engine with a wrench on the crank bolt.

Think it is OK and will loosen up with break in?

It will loosen up, no question. Don't worry about it.

Thanks Jack,
I went ahead and bolted on the timing cover.
