Timelapse '63 BJ7 engine rebuild

As the title says, we have finally put the engine together and as I got a couple of GoPro cameras a while ago, I thought of using one to make a timelapse of the rebuild. Please forgive the mistakes as it has been the first time I try a timelapse:

I plan on making a stand to record the whole restoration with one camera so I can make further timelapses while use the other for filming close-ups.

I will also asks some questions about the engine later.
 
I really enjoyed watching the time lapse. Great job with the motor and the editing. Thanks for sharing.

Yes it did, the cylinders were bored to +.20, when we opened the engine, the outer most pistons (1 & 6) were +.10 and the other 4 were standard with oversized rings, so the guy at the machine shop told us the best thing was to bore all 6 to +.20 The top of the block was also resurfaced and all throughly cleaned in one of those giant washing machines they used in the shop to clean all the galleries.

In the cylinder head we had new valve guides and seats redone, the valves installed and resurfaced.

The crankshaft and other items were sandblasted and all connecting rods bushings and camshaft bearings were also installed by them.

At the end around 1300ā‚¬ of work
