This board has/is a lot of fun.

I have learned quite a bit just from following along.

I have learned even more when I ask a question either dumb or not.

I have made a lot of friends. some I have met like Jeff and Tony and some I will meet in the next year or so and look forward to it greatly.

I am very thankful to Basil for providing this place to gather and share.

When I hit the garage I appreciate your parts sourceing and advice getting Miss Agatha up and running. Kinda wish I had done a better job even, but for a fun driver she is fine.

Thanks guys for all the help.

Well spoken, Jack. The best of what this new Internet thing can offer, really. I've certainly enjoyed your adventure with Miss Agatha, and certainly wouldn't still be in the old car hobby without this site.

Well, I would still be in the car hobby without BCF but it sure does make it a lot more fun. Having just recently found BCF, I haven't had time to make many friends yet but I;m sure I will. I have really enjoyed reading the many threads and topics and participating in those that I can contribute to. Like everyone, I have learned a lot too from the adventures and reporting of others.

Thanks to all you great forum members for making this a fun place to visit /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grouphug.gif and especially to Basil for making it all possible. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thankyousign.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thankyousign.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/yesnod.gif

I honestly have to admit, that I wouldn't have gotten deeper into the hobby without BCF. I thought I was in over my head with (what now appears to be) a simple 1275. The confidence I've gotten from the advice posted here is truly fantastic. Knowledge is priceless.
You're all great chaps, look forward to seeing most at Spridgets next year.
Miss Agatha, Tunebug, Bugsy, to name a few are now names with substance.

I agree with all of the remarks and sentiments expressed regarding BCF. Basil does a great job keeping everything running like clockwork..

I have learned a lot,and have attempted to fix things I used to leave alone.
I'm even contemplating getting another car to work on.But that will have to wait till we get back from our vacation in Scotland.
Any way chaps,it's a privilege to hear all of your adventures and misadventures. And to receive all the encouragement and advice you give so freely.
And Jack,Miss Agatha looks a treat.Great work. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

This place is "Internet Unique" as far as I can tell: Well run, well 'attended' and very responsive when it comes to answering a question over a member's problem or uncertainty.

And it's just downright FUN!

Isn't our virtual car club a great family?

&, Jack, I've driven Miss Agatha - I'd be proud to own her! Oops, we don't own them, we care for them!

I've been very impressed with this group. The forum and folks who are a part of it are top notch! I really appreciate the ability to come post our victories or tragedies...big or small with our hobby. It has certainly been an educational experience. I wish this had been around (mumble-mumble) years ago when I had my first MGB.

I agree, thanks to everyone - I have learned a ton on here, and I plan to continue to do so.

Really, don't take this community for granted. I've been on numerous forums for various interests. By far, this is the nicest and most friendly car forum I have ever been on.

Wow Jack look what you started! I also do not have a clue how I could have gotten where I am without the support and advice from all who talked me through the hard parts and let me vent when things didn't always work out like I wanted. I left work today after a pretty rough time and its like having a smile waiting for me. By the time I got home...I was in a better mood. Who would have ever thought? Thanks guys!

And a-one, and a-two, and a-three...."We are family, all my brothers and sisters and me....!!" Sly grin /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grouphug.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

Seriously, you have all articulated well what is so great about this site! Thanks to all, and especially our Fawlty Emperor! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bow.gif

I think the Sprite is responsible for the niceness of the owners. Think about it, ever seen a Sprite driver with road rage? Ever seen a pedestrian who took offence to the car?
It is easily the most helpful forum I have found on the net, others would do well to learn from us!

The other place has a good gallery, lots of reference pics will come in handy during rebuild. But for interaction with people, this is the place to be. Cheers Basil, and to all who use your baby

We may own LBC's but we're not stoopid. when you drive a car a Hyundai could park on you, mind your tongue & your temper. Reminds me of the Preacher leaning over the Old Man on his deathbed yelling "Renounce the Devil!" The old man replies - "I ain't in the position to antagonize anybody." /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

PS still love the boards and the mood and can hardly wait to show the world the grin on my face (rather than road rage) - Oh but if you scratch it /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif
