'09 was a complicated year here. The biggie was both parents having rather severe health problems, accompanied by crisis events. Becoming a "parent" to my parents is ironic, humbling, and difficult. But, I'm glad I'm in a position to provide good care for them.
On the positive side, I acquired a new LBC in 2009 and made a big step up in my career with a great new job.
My foremost hopes for the New Year: I hope the nation's economy continues to recover in 2010, and that we may achieve our goals in Afghanistan and Iraq and get our troops out of harm's way ASAP.
