Time to go ice racing

As many of you know the frustration of getting quality tires for your British sportscar can be frustrating at best, and in my case I really only have 2 ligitimate choices, without getting DOT racing tires. So I've decided it may be easier to drive my Elan in the Winter rather than the Summer given the fact that there are dozens of choices in my tire size for dedicated snow tires with and without studs. Why is that? So rather than fighting it I might as well embrace it and buy a set of studded snows to mount on my Panasports and do some top down ice racing!

I'm kidding of course but whats up with all the small size winter tires out there? You can't tell me if they make that size in Winter tires that there isn't a market for the same sized Summer tires (not all season).

Stepping off my soap box!

I guess they want you to bling it in summer with a set of 20" rims and those silly rubber bands they call tires nowadays.

Hope there was room on that soapbox for both of us.
I'm down now.

Dave
