Time lapse photography is usually done on crowds of people and such, but here is some nature time lapse taken here in Banff National Park, some very good stuff! This video is the trailer for a twelve minute long video yet to be screened...

The photographer, Paul Zizka, spoke at our camera club meeting last night...

It always amazes me when they do a time-lapse and the camera is moving. Pretty cool.

Beautiful! Thanks!

The camera movement is done with some amazingly inexpensive equipment ...considering the results. Post-production software allows you to vary the time-lapse speeds. Really cool stuff. I might look into this for myself after my B/E project is done.

Thanks for the link! Yes, I had envisioned some sort of track (to insure a stable lock on the scene). I've seen some similar time-lapse where there was really significant movement. Wow.

'Course my wife says "I don't get it, what do you mean the camera is moving." When I point out that the position is moving while a large amount of time is elapsing, she says "oh. And?"
