time for primer

Hello all,
Does anyone have any recommendations for which primer to use on my MGB. I have taken care of all the rust issues using Por15 etc and am ready to paint the whole car. The final paint job will much later but for now I wanted to at least make it look the same color instead of yellow with back spots all over it.
I was thinking about Por15 Tie Coat Primer but not sure if it's the right product. Additionally since I don't really have the space to use a spray gun I wondered if I could just use a brush and sand later. When I am ready I will take it to the shop for final spray.

Gary.

Primer generally needs to be compatible with the type/brand of paint that you will use on the car (exp. PPG, Dupont, etc. and Base/Clear, or single stage). So it would be a good idea to discuss that with the shop that you would use to paint the car. If you don't know, then go to a auto paint store and ask for a primer. They will have something for you in a spray (rattle) can that will work.
