General TR Time for a long ride

My wife would have been 58 today. The 58 TR3A was hers so it's only fitting to enjoy a nice ride in her 58.

54 was way too young but I remind myself that she's free now.

OK time for a woohoo! I need wipers for my eyes.

Peter, I understand. Savor the memories. My late wife got the TR3 when she was commuting to graduate school (1968) after I got a car with my work. It's interesting how these objects define who we are and who we were, and how much emotion that conveys. It will be a bitter sweet day when and if I get the restoration finished.

Wow had a nice ride. But when I got home pulled the 3A on the lift, I stepped out on a plastic wheel chock in the dark and twisted my foot and broke the base of the 5th metatarsal bone hahaha really, got to laugh except that I can't drive a clutch for a couple of weeks. Otherwise it was an adventure for sure.

Sorry about that foot Peter but that sounds like a great reason for a drive. I will get reunited with my 3A in a couple weeks then if I can get it out of its winter slumber hope to take it to the Kastner cup. Lost a dear friend and fellow 3A driver recently so a long drive sounds like a great way to honor him.
