Tie Rods / Alignment

The track rod on my BJ8 is adjusted as far as it will go, and there is still 1/4" toe out. The steering arms are the correct part numbers and on the correct side, and bend toward the backing plates. The steering and idle arms also bend toward the outside. Everything looks perfect. Is there something I'm not thinking to check? All I can figure is that the track rod itself is too long, or the rod ends are incorrect. The track rod is 19 5/8" from tip to tip. When it bottoms out in the rod ends, there are still a couple threads showing past the nuts on each side. The rod ends are marked "CG3807". The dust caps on them say "ENGPRODUCS" and are made in England.

Can anyone tell me if these rod ends are correct? I don't want to shorten the rod if the ends are the problem.

Thanks for any input.

If You can measure the length of the tir rod end , I can compare it to 1 of Mine tomorrow. I'm pretty sure the 19 5/8 " is correct. Might be wrong tie rods

Thanks, the tie rods look like about 11 7/8" each, which I've been told is correct. The track rod ends are about 3 1/8" from center of the pin to end of the female threads. The female threads are 1 5/8" deep, which seems right since this is how long the threads beyond the lock nut are on the rod itself.

So either something is amiss elsewhere, or maybe the overall length of the rod ends aren't correct? I'm at a loss.

O.K. My ends are about 4 inches total end to end. I have about 11 7/8 " from center of track rod to end of tie rod.
