THROTTLE JACK...Patent Pending!!

Well, I got it all to work! My Throttle Jack (solenoid) works like a charm and the big-arse electric fan no long pumps juice backwards to keep the solenoid open. Except for some sloppy wiring, it all works. Note I placed the diode behind the fan and covered it with clear shrink tubing to keep it dry. I am taking orders!!!

At least you used red wiring. That better be specified in the patent application.

schveet, I knew you could do it. :jester:

Seems a bit high tech for us people who still live in the dark ages, i.e. with cars before alternators.

Nice job.

Glad to see you got that out of the way, Doc. Any more projects before the 21st?
Spoke with Dr.Bennett today; he and "Dr." Guidry are going to be looking for you at Delgado.

You know, all that good have been handled with a good FI computer.

He don't need no stinkin' choke cable.

And why would that be? He still has a carbureted (?) car. I'm curious because with TBI, I don't have a need for a choke and only use the choke cable for initial start up to raise the idle until the ECM can take over.

Bill....do you have a "long" shot of the carbs to see how everything hooks together and how it looks?

Choke is only to enrich the mix on first start,COLD....

That cable/clip setup on the two back 175's is fine! Most times the only need to richen up th' mix to start th' beast would be if the temp goes below 50*F or it's sat for a week without runnin'... otherwise it should light off without issue.

EDIT: I'm jus' groovin' onna solenoid install. Totally professional!

Did you sneeze Don or simply collapse on the floor in pain?

Emergency Eye Surgery. Can't get the <span style="font-size: 14pt"><span style="color: #FF0000">RED</span></span> out no matter how many bottles of
