TR2/3/3A Throttle cable instead of the linkage??

Has anyone set up their carburetors with a cable instead of using the rods and pivots? If so how did you do it?

Hi Jerry,

Ratco makes a cable pull setup for the TR6, and I was able to modify it for my TR4A (though that was for the Webers I had at the time). Their kit might give you some ideas for your car, though the bodies are different of course. Also, the Moss supercharger kit uses a cable pull, and the instructions show the bracket that they use, so perhaps some ideal there. It really just comes down to making brackets on each end of the cable.
