threading on master cylinders

Can anyone tell me if the threading on the master cylinders is metric or not? I bought a bench bleeder kit form Napa that it is metric but they do not seem to fit.

No, they were not metric. Tried the "standard" set at Napa bring in my old master cylinder. The larger one fit but could not find anything to fit the smaller one. Not sure what to do next.

need the right tool-?????

Send it To Billie at WHITE POST HE KNOWS AND HAS THE PROPER TOOLS TO FIX IT------

They may be a British pipe thread, a little different than American. I had the same problem with the SU fuel pump when I wanted to find hose bibs. Check with a machine shop and they can tell you the threads per inch and hole size. Go online and you can find adapters.

I think I got the proper adapter at O'Rileys. The kit came with ten or more fittings and some seemed to fit well. They had no idea what it was or even that they had it. My wife found it in the back of a shelf. Been there since it was a Kragen store and they only had one. We will see if it works in a couple of days.
