Thread sealer

What is best for sealing threads that penetrate into the water jacket on a TR3?
Permatex in a tube? One of the locktites? Something else?

how about using teflon tape like you use on plumbing fixtures, it worked for me on simular applications

Permatex and Locktite both make a "threadsealer". I use the Permatex #2 myself.

I agree with bill. Permatex aviation forma-a-gasket #2 non-hardening for all bolts into the block will seal oil or water. Use denatured alcohol to clean it off your fingers.
