I see a $20K +/- driver quality car...tops. Having done three of them myself to a similar standard, I can't see anybody having 30K in a restoration of this level, unless it was a basket case before restoration. If it was, it's their fault for buying a car needing that much work. If you know what you're getting and get it at a price that makes you happy and are prepared to work on things as needed, you could have some fun. An AH is going to cost you more and may be restored to the same level and need the same things. Nobody in their right mind buys these cars as investments, however, I don't agree that a driver quality, classic car of any kind, that is maintained and driven is going to depreciate from use.
