Took the dog out for a nice walk this morning. Very wet but no wind or rain.

Think it must have petered out.
 
Good. The "media" are hyping it (as usual).
 
No big deal here in my area, schools and mil. base closed but they always get it wrong.

Wed. is a day off as well Doc, it's our day. Happy happy guy.

After living through the aftermath of Ike, and seeing the damage it and Katrina caused, I have to disagree. Hurricanes can dramatically change in 24 hours.

We've had rain from her all night & most of morning but its now just overcast & wet.

Not sayin' the thing couldn't be damaging. I live near enough to Arcadia (crossroads for three in a season).

I'm sayin' the media are making THIS one sound as if it were Katrina's kin. We had some wild wind yesterday from it.
Kept th' squirrels tight up against the tree trunks. :devilgrin:
 
Well, the rain came back & made of a dreary day....so, Jerri & I caught the 1:40 showing of "Amelia"......still drizzling.
