Back when I had a garage full of Cortina parts,there was a set of
Deluxe front struts that I knew I'd never use.Took them to the local
wrecking yard.
About a week later,I get a call from Mike,another Cortina owner in
Lodi,CA.,asking me if I had a set of Deluxe front struts that I'd be willing
to sell for a fair amount of money.
The story of my life.

Had the same experience with some Sunbeam bits a few years ago. Advertised them as free just pay shipping for a couple months on Sunbeam sites, never got a nibble. A couple days after I pitched them, someone contacted me wanting them...

A favorite activity with a team at work:

While being timed, everyone writes word "multitask", followed by the numbers 1 through 9. Then everyone does both simultaneously, alternating a letter and a number, i.e. "m-1-u-2-l-3-t-4-i-5-t-6-a-7-s-8-k-9"

Multitasking takes way longer than doing each task individually. And that's assuming no mistakes were made!
