It's a trick!! The boat leaving the harbor is different, and if you count carefully, with 8 passengers. I think it was some super secret blacktops thing. Or maybe an alien spaceship swooped down over the ocean and replaced them to reclaim the 8th person who was really one of them in disguise. Don't ask for more details, the guys in dark suits and glasses may show up at your door...
