Ditto - Wasn't used often - because I knew it would be, if I deserved it. Ditto with our boys. Was used when I was a kid, Dad 2" Navy Belt. 1950s era.
Sorry but I disagree. That's not funny in any way.
Oh, but it is. As a teacher, I have seen what happens when children do not have consequences or their actions. That's not funny in any way.
and so.......Let's lighten up people - not everyone is going to share the same sense of humor. As long as we keep 1) the politics and 2) the dirty jokes out of the equation then we're good.
I don't either, personally, but unlike the rest of the internet I like to keep BCF more of a family friendly place.actually, i don't mind some of the dirty jokes.....
I spent 24 years in the military - I can assure you I'm not personally offended by a good raunchy joke (some of the jokes I've heard over the years could embarrass a Sailor). I'll never forget one time in Basic Training, our TI had us chanting a cadence as we marched at o-dark-thirty one morning. The cadence started like this: "I knew a girl from the Golden West" ... and that's as far as I can go. I'll never forget the TI's frantic efforts to get us to shut up when he spotted a female Captain standing at the next street corner.i'm ok with it, Basil, and i don't have a problem with keeping it family friendly, i'm just saying....i am not that sensitive.....(besides, sometimes a good dirty joke can sometimes initiate the process to start a family.....)....
