tadadum, tadadum,
I'll be here all week,
This, by the way, is the only thing I learned in Algebra I.

I miss George. Didn't 't always agree with him, but appreciated his in-your-face honesty.

And just to show how different the period was when the cartoon was made, George and Jane have a 16 year old daughter. Jane is 33. Do the math...

When I was a kid, Mom and Dad bought a house with one car garage. Driveway was two concrete paths to garage. A carpenter built the house and his 50 Ford fit in the garage. Well, we bought the house and Mom said garage would be an extra room as the Mercury Monterey will not fit. Dad said it will, drove into garage and push bumper into the drywall, got out and closed the door, then crawled back thru car to go into house, yelling it fits. You could not walk in front or behind car to get to the other side.

Makes me think of a series of dwellings I had:
  • Apartment had a one car garage and I got one car in it.
  • First house had a two car garage and I got one car in it.
  • Second house had a three car garage and I got one car in it.

My house has a two car garage and I can no longer fit any cars in it.

I once bought a '72 Buick LeSabre 4 door,then I realized
that I hadn't measured it to see if it fit in our garage.
I found out that yes,it would fit,but then I noticed that
you could barely open the small door in the rear of the garage.

I have a two car garage with three cars in it.
