My niece is doing the family tree - who knew. certainly doesn't explain my singing ability. (Martin - bottom left is my brother) :D

That's actually pretty neat! I mean, perhaps humorous, but really interesting how we ARE all indeed related / six degrees / etc... I'm often amazed how small the work actually is.

Speaking of six degrees of separation, this is not a family connection, but when my son was taking glider flying lessons as a teen, his instructor was a (old) guy named Al Santilli. Al is the instructor who signed son off to get his license. As it turns out, Al had been flying gliders since the 1930s and his glider license was signed by Orville Wright (no kidding). So my son was signed off by a guy who was signed off by one of the Wright brothers.

Again not a family connection but, at a church in the early 2000's I had an elder who as a child had an elder who knew Jefferson Davis. So, I shook the hand that shook the hand that shook the hand of Jefferson Davis.
