Thought of the day-Innovative car repairs

When you work on your own car, you only spend about 25% of the time actually working on it. The other 75% is angrily walking around looking for the tool you literally had in your hand two minutes ago.
I am sure I have mentioned this before but my championship 'loss' was losing my drywall taping knife in a 7 X 9 bathroom that was literally completely empty except for me and said knife. Unbelieveable. It had fallen down the heat duct.
:rolleyes2:

I’m still looking for my NEW flashlight that I had when I started running cable in my basement a few years ago.
Please check your heat duct to see if it’s in there too.

It's very frustrating when you can't find a tool that you know you just had in your hand 10 seconds ago!

5 houses ago I left a screwdriver in a ceiling baffle where I was installing potlights. I still think of going back to ask for it.

Oh and it is astonishing how many garden hand tools are missing.
