Thought of the day - food related

Like the Bill Cosby show yrs ago. He had o make breakfast, gave the kids chocolate cake. Had flour, eggs, sugar, oil and choclate and a glass of milk. All the basic foods for breakfast. No plated would be left with crumbs.

Simon Schama, the great British historian and essayist, gave his opinion of Pumpkin Spice. "It's an abomination. 'Pumpkin spice' means the stuff you have to add to pumpkins to make them taste of something, which in turn is an icky, nausea-inducing nasal stew of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and brown sugar."

Maybe he prefers SoyLent Green?

Last night my wife brought home some desert from her dinner.
Pumpkin spice cheese cake.
It was a poor excuse for cheese cake and the pumpkin spice made it almost inedible.
But I was hungry.
