Did not read the first time as crepes.

Shouldn't it be in groaners?

And from the "What is going on in their marketing department?" files, there is this:

Ms. Tybalt received a text from Publix on their Weekly sales with the teaser "Eight nights of amazing food. Bring on the oil. It's time for Chanukah!" She opens it up and the first thing they show is their semi-boneless ham that is on sale. I laughed when she showed me the ad, when I finally stopped laughing said something to the effect of "I guess it's a little late to say mazel tov to you Mr. Pig."

Scroll down a bit more and there is platter of latkes with sliced veggies, capers, mustard, sour cream, olives and such. Then we get into the featured coupons, first one at the top is for bacon...

With the College Football Playoffs kicking off this weekend and seeing these in the store, I thought it might be time to have a UGA Fun Quiz. So here we go.

1) The FDA insists that these be called "chitterlings" but they're really:

a) pig guts

b) the large intestines of a hog

c) chitlins

d) all of the above

e) none of the above

2) What is the first step in cooking chitterlings?

a) steam them

b) fry them

c) boil the $#!+ out of them

3) What should you never serve as a side dish with chitterlings?

a) potatoes

b) squash

c) corn

d) taro root

4) Because these come in a red bucket, that makes them a UGA football collectible.

True or False

We had a building brought down at a main intersection in town and a McDs express was turned down. Wife said someone needs to put a bacon truck there.
