This'll make you go "Hmmm" too!

Re: This'll make you go "Hmmm" too!

I am glad I just bought a few shares of stock in Air Products who produces over 50% of the world's hydrogen gases and does have about 75 stations up and running. I think this has a chance to make an effect on my children's and grandchildren's lives. In the meantime, Fagin will keep my entertained as he burns Sunoco...

Re: This'll make you go "Hmmm" too!

How is it a zero-emissions car? The emissions have simply been relocated to the plant that has to produce the energy to run the car. Out of sight, out of mind me thinks.

Re: This'll make you go "Hmmm" too!

if 10% of cars were electric we would have blackouts on warm days here in SoCal ,

Its a good idea for local runs but its not the answer,

well really there is NO answer , only bandages for a big problem....

Re: This'll make you go "Hmmm" too!

I would dearly love to make an in depth comment here, but ...... i`m sure it would stirr up a hornets nest and probably get me banned for life! Even Solar power isn`t completely "Green", if you consider the manufacturing process involved to produce the solar equipment needed to convert sun light into electricity!

Hydrogen power indeed! Green? Hardly!

It just goes to show that some peoples chutzpah {Hebrew deffinition} over rules thier intelligence.

I did find it rather amusing that only a select few elite Hollywood "greenies" were selected for ownership.

Re: This'll make you go "Hmmm" too!

A little basic research will show that here ARE "green" ways of producing hydrogen (maybe not on the scale required to convert society en masse, YET!) , but even going with the premis that it can not be done, there is nothing wrong with reasearch and exploration for alternatives. Without pushing the envelope we'd still be riding horses!!

Re: This'll make you go "Hmmm" too!

Ever been to Mackinac island in MI? No cars just horses. Even the UPS guy drives a delivery wagon. Horse poo EVERYWHERE.

Re: This'll make you go "Hmmm" too!

The dirty jobs guy did a show from there.
