helilcopter. no shame in that; igor sikorsky said words to the effect that when you are in trouble the best someone in a fixed wing aircraft can do for you is drop flowers whereas a helicopter might actually be of some use. also, the helicopter is the only machine invented by man that has saved more lives than it has taken.
but then i am pretty biased (that's me up top)!
