Hey gang,

I am here in Lake of the Ozarks on a very successful mission. Many loose ends tied up, but a few more to do yet. Here's a couple of info points to pass on to everyone at your convenience...

1. Traffic - June has pretty heavy traffic on the main drag through Osage Beach and I'm thinking about overheating problems. We need to let everyone know to make sure their cooling systems are optimal!

2. Found a really neat place for the panoramic shot with the lake in the background. Tony Lipari out of Kansas City will be doing that shot. I will post a short movie of the local at Ha Ha Tonka State Park
soon as I get home.

3. Did 400 miles of road runs today. Everything looks great with some of the best twisty roads you can imagine!! Pics posted soon to prove it. On the way, I saw at least 3 cherry El Caminos... Ed will be overjoyed.

4. The hotel bar will stock our favorite beers if we let them know.
I'm taking suggestions for the 5 most favorite... lemme know... I already have an order in for Porpoise Pee from Ed....

5. We are more than half booked at the hotel with 8 months yet to go!!
Spread the word to get your reservations in quick! At this rate, the hotel says we are *way* ahead of any other group they have dealt with!! over 70 cars signed up already including some from outside the US!!

Jack,
Thank you for your work in getting this sorted, the work that you and the planning team have put forth is appreciated.
Don't you worry about beer when the time comes. We'll sort that out for you.

Woops, I did not go to the lake this time that was Jim Johnson our leader.

My efforts at this point is just keeping the folks here up to date.

groan - but not synthetic - still like the MG on the label though - even if it's a T. In pubs, the "pull handle" is an inverted actual oil bottle

I'm thirsty and it is only 10:00 AM in KC. Ditto in thanks for all you are doing. I also found a great place close to the hotel and have talked to Tony about it. It is the public marina to the lake.
