This is Horse - stuff

I think I'd be boiling too!

But aren't Reserve members eligible to purchase TriCare insurance? (TriCare Reserve Select)

Is it TriCare that's denying the coverage? Or the Army itself?

Insurance companies seem to go out of their way to deny coverage.

This is disgusting! The guy served his country in an honorable fashion and this is what he gets by doing what they asked of him. Totally disgusting! PJ

Sad.

I don't always like wars, but I understand why they must be fought. I have utmost respect for our troops and veterans, and frankly our government should be embarrassed by our treatment.

:livid: I'm embarrassed of the way our government is.

After this publicity, I think they'll pay. As a lawyer, I've had many fights with non-paying insurance companies. You would nor believe some of the excuses they can come up with. Insurance is something you can get until you really need it.

the business certainly seems to have changed in the last 30 years or so.

This is a Department of Defense issue. They need to treat their people who are willing to volunteer and put themselves in harms way for our country better! I'm hopeful the Army will do the right thing.

That stuff goes on too often. No excuse for it.

That's why I support independent efforts to help those guys (and fellow Vietnam veterans). Attended this event Friday eve:

Insurance companies exist to provide a service and make a profit. A difficult nut to crack.

And I won't even touch the military's recent "return your sign-up bonus!" demands. Shades of Cox's Army in 1932.
