Uncover'd th' B, chasmois'd it down from all th' rain we've had overnight, so's to jack it up for a tire/wheel swap. Get that done and all the swarf an' such outta the channels 'n rails... Now it's 'boom 'n thump' again so re-cover it an' slope indoors to watch it darken and start rainin' all over again. gah.

Somebody MAKE IT STOP!!! 1.5"~2" an hour is a bit MUCH even for Florida.

gotcher snorkel gear handy?

No...it's just a bit much when it does it over and over again /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Try explaining the weather to someone in Denver that thinks Florida (and the tropics) is sunny all the time with bright clear skies. I constantly have to apologize for not being able to get projects done for 1-2 (or more) weeks during the summer because of the clouds, and sometimes rain showers. They always think I'm making it up.

B-4 bag right beside th' door.

Funny bit is: there's an icecream truck playin' the Aussie national anthem ("Waltzing Matilda" /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif ) trollin' fer th' local vermin yout' while this is goin' on.
My luck is: they'll all survive. No lightnin' strikes near enuff so far. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Yup. Comin' into the 'season': set yer watch, it's 4 O'clock... rains've started up again t'day. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

...nice moose, BTW. Meant t' mention that a while ago.

Doc, what are you complaining about? The weather is perfect for CAB.

No need to think of an excuse for spending the day on the GPU - just tell 'er indoors to look outta da window!

If only I had it that easy...

No prob, Alan. Tho Herself is on holiday this week, she's gone today to 'audition' for "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" !! I guess they go around an' grep for contestants...

...she 'flunked'. On 'er way back now and will stop for re-supply to th' CAB locker. YAY. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

And th' sun's back out now, so all's right with th' world. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

well send the rain up here. swmbo keeps muttering about mowing the lawn (as if you can dignify the expanse of weeds and bare soil by that name).

i desperately need an excuse...

Just LIMP alot! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Looks like we may even get a bit of rain here today as well. We're well into a drought around here, so it is welcome -- though I did ride a motorcycle to work today (borrowed pa-in-law's BMW for a few weeks) so I may get a bit wet on the way home. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

She won't buy it.
Not a sympathetic bone in her body I swear.

I want to spend some time fixing the -6. She doesn't even think that's a good use of time, and tells me so - at volume.

I swear there's no reasoning with them sometimes. The wee beastie growing in there has made her totally unreasonable...

Vicious li'l parasites! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Yeah... MOOOOSE! They're selling tons of the buggers at Bar Harbor. Those neat little oval stickers, different than the white/black ones everyone sells.

No no no! That rain we had the other day was brutal in more ways than one. I swear you could see the grass growing. The harder it rained, the higher the grass looked. We got that thick St Augustine crud too. Feels like straw when you walk on it, mows like it too.

T'wouldn't be so bad if'n it wasn't goin' from drought to flood and back agin! An' Lake O is still too low!!!! Gonna hafta take a safari into the back yard this weekend to find the mower!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif

Move to SoCal - No bugs, little rain, and you can hang out at Cars and Coffee.

Last month this place was flooding this month dry as a bone. Moskitos were so bad this year that the airforce was called in for some serious bug killin. Still cost you a pint or 2 if your out without bugspray but better than loosing a gallon at a time

130's as mosquito sprayers... wow. If you see any F-16's I guess it'd mean the mosquitos engaged the spray bird. Air-to-air combat with giant mutant mosquitos. hmmm.

....I'm gonna have some NASTY dreams now. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Much more hi-tech than the old DC-3s they use down here eh, Doc.!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

Too much Granola for me in SoCal I'm afraid Cliff!!!
(What ain't fruit and nuts is flakes!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif)
