A few weeks back I got an email from Angliagt. He sent me some pics of a pretty neat old Heathkit ignition scope and a pile of old manuals he found in his garage. Pretty cool I replied, then I didn't hear anything more. Fast forward to today. There's a big ol heavy box on my front porch. Post-marked from California. It's an old Remington Electric Typewriter box With the manufacturers address of Elmira N.Y. That alone was pretty neat that all these years later that box made it back home, but inside is the oscilloscope with all it's adapters and manuals. How cool is that?! I can't wait to try it out on a vintage car or two. It will make a nice addition to my eclectic collection. My buddies from work already think my garage is a museum.
Only on the BCF do I run into folks like Doug, that will ship a 20 pound piece of vintage diagnostic equipment across the country 'cause he knows I'll get a kick out of it.
Thanks man!
I'll try to add some pics soon. you gotta see the one tune-up guide book with the illustration of 2 guys casually tuning up a Ferrari in the back yard on the cover! it's classic.:eagerness:
