There was an old PH veteran that always came to the Kansas City All Brit. (80's).One morning
as we were washing our Tr3's He told me of the "cleanup" on Dec 8th . I got the impression
Herb had never spoken of it much before this.

I watched a really good documentary a couple years ago that showed a lot of the process involved with righting and refloating/salvaging the sunken ships - some to be refurbed and see service and some just refloated enough to tow out of the way for later scrapping.
