Third brake light anyone?

I want to install a third brake light on my TR6... One that will flash a couple of times then go steady red.
OK, with that in mind, I bought a LED light strip that will do the job.
So, where to mount it? I was initially thinking of just above or just below the license plate. I have seen some mounted to roll bars but I do not have plans to put a roll bar in.
The deck area seems the best, but I do not want to drill any mounting holes.
Where have you mounted yours?

Elliot-

I'm thinking of the same thing for my TR3, but it will obviously be a different solution. For the TR6, have you looked at the possibility of attaching it via a bracket to the rear clamping strip of the convertible top (or whatever they call that piece)?

Randy-
Hummm... I will have to give that some thought. If it dos not interfere with the top then.... maybe.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Nobody will pay any attention anyway--much too busy on the cell phone. Better to invest in those glowing blue things that light up the whole base of the car, like it was about to launch itself into orbit. Or maybe those mechanical arms lots of Euro '50s cars had to signal right and left hand turns.

Best to mount it as high as possible. I have a motorcycle light flasher wired in to my 3A - it also provides a continuous flasher connection that can be remotely switched for emergencies. https://66.252.233.21/products/Modules/xp.asp
