Well, sorry to hear of any disenchantment with LBCs. but Best of luck in your next venture.
I'm sure there will be plenty of intrest in the 70.

I want a car I can put the whole family in and cruise. I had vettes and now the TR but the kids fight over riding in them with me. I started looking at impalas and bonnevilles. My car would be very reasonably priced and is really a rare rust free original colorado car that just needs minor work to be excellent.

Get a 61 Bonneville convertible with the 389 and factory 4 speed. Nice lines, wide track, great cruiser and room for an army.

Triumph Stag... LBC, V8, Convertible, IRS and room for four!

Unless your family is larger than four.

I liked my '65 GTO, or '66 which I think looked great. Another nice ride is the 64 Chevy Impala.

As for me and Grandma we like our TR6 and it is great fun having the grandkids lined up in the front lawn waiting for their turn to ride. The neighbors get to see a lot of really big smiles!

As for selling, you might wait for spring, March, April, May, to get a better price.

If indeed your car is truly rust free , including the frame, it should attract someone wanting to do a frame-off rebuild. What do you call "minor work"? What does it need to make it ready to roll? Lots of variables here.

This car is driven all the time and runs good. It has the usual slow drip from the engine. A little slow starting and the horn doesn't work. I have owned many classics and this car impresses me with it's originality. Original top, seats, carpet, dash, everything. Just a true surviver with two previous owners. First owner in CO for 30 years and second in NE for 5. It is listed on this website from the summer but I am asking less now.

JMO - 70 - TR6 should sell no problem. Store it somewhere instead or you'll be sorry later! - The kids will eventually grow up and move out...someday...maybe. Ok, just don't let them take over your basement and call it their pad.

As for the Impala - 1965 Chevrolet Impala convertible with either a 283 or 327 engine or was that motor. Red, white interior, black top. My first car was a 1960 chevy Impala bubble hard top with those oh so huge fins. My second car was the 65 as described. Wish I still had both and btw they have plenty of room front and back. Don't even ask how I know that.

You first born isn't named Impala by any chance? We actually have a Shevrolet (spelled with the S) living in our town. Every action has a reaction.
