TR2/3/3A Thinking of a TR 2/3 ratrod project

When I see the term "easy restoration" in the description, I figure either they never done one, or they're smoking something. When I purchased my car, it was in better shape then this one and the restoration was a lot of work and expense and I don't recall anything being easy about it.
 
Bill Better airflow for cooling...... 1/3 of the rad is blocked by the metal underneath the grille. Some race cars have a square mesh grid down there. I've also seen guys fabricate a plywood air scoop below the front of the car. Different methods of getting better airflow to the rad/engine. I also added a 4'' air duct to the SU's coming from the grill area.:eagerness:

I'm with you Terry. Restorations are just work. My TR4 owned for 45 years is currently apart for painting, it is a well cared for car mostly garaged cept when I was very young and poor. You learn alot about an automobile when the fenders come off. About ready to find something to smoke. Interesting what happens to old seam sealer.
