Think, if all goes well I have selected my bugeye for a mid Jan pickup. Jolly says no rust but one damaged a frame. I plan to keep it without rust to the best of my ability.
Anyway, as I have done this before I have been thinking hard about solutions to problems that I have had, hence the questions. It has been a long time since I have built a Bugeye and I am sure there are many new products and ideas.
Anything over 50 years old is worth takeing care of including me, hehe.
Jolly you have been a joy. I really appreciate your kind offer of a cancer free car with all the parts, rebuildable of course. Really looking forward to the first of the year.
Not to leave out Pappy who sent me a nice email with pictures of his pride and joy and Channult who shaired some of his expertise on posting pictures and like computer stuff.
Anyway guys, expect lots of dumb questions. I have so much to relearn or even learn.
I have spent hours on the web looking at folks restorations and finished cars and their many many comments concerning them. Was a fun experience, Google Bugeye, Austin Healey, Speedwell, sebring sprite to name a few.
Now I did hear a long while back that some guy on the Isle of Wright was makeing a new Bugeye, tube frame and rover engine as I remember but orginial looking on the out side. Have not found a link for that but supose he is long out of business.
You ask why I post here daily or more, well lots of reasons. Mature answers to posts. The great depth of info available from the members, and of course because I hate to come to the site and see nothing new at all. I would supose that you guys do as well so I try to have a bit of a read or an intresting tidbit I have found. Hay, it is all part of the exciteing Bugeye experience is it not?
