Think about a Spridget

Awesome car. Wonder who got the 5 speed out of the car. Ha

You could always build a cage around the batteries.

Bet that is a Hoot to drive.

Very impressive off the line performance. Notice no mention of regular driving mileage. Looked like with the original battery pack he was having to recharge every 2nd run.

Cool technology.......I wonder what happens when it gets rear ended and catches fire. 60 batteries up in smoke and Haz-Mat to manage the toxic cloud and clean up the mess.
Well, as I recall if a gasoline-powered car gets rear-ended and catches fire the gasoline will go boom! Apples, Oranges, they all rot when they go bad!! :jester:

That is QUICK, but not much of a soundtrack, it would be wierd to drive. Gotta love all that torque though!!!!

The beauty of electric is that if has max torque at low rpms and you have it all at the beginning, the part that is bad is that it fades real quick. Its easy to make an electric car that drag races, its hard to make one that goes 300 miles.

Reminds me of a classic gag in "The Simpsons" where Ed Begley Jr. (an outspoken environmentalist) hops onto a go cart that is powered by his "own sense of self satisfaction" and zooms over the horizon.
