After I got Yeller home from the Prev. owner, I found a lot more rust than I saw when I first looked at it to buy..

Hmmm, I would agree. There is something about going round with your top down in a
sports car that brings these things on, I suppose; however, I'd know nothing of it.

I found a plastic bag in the GT6 with the owner's manual and a very corroded oval metal plate that had the cars information like the serial number, model, make stamped on it, kind of like a dog tag, jammed under the carpet under the diver's seat. It was so badly water damaged and rotted it practically fell apart in my hands when I found it.
 
When I retrieved my car from storage in my brother's shed it had a new hole in the driver's floorboard + thousands of little acorns - they were everywhere from under the bonnet to the rear hatch - scattered around inside. My brother admitted that he had removed a deceased squirrel from the car prior to my arrival.

We didn't find anything in the MGB except the odd stray coin and an old pair of clip on sunglasses.

Under my old Midget we found a nice flashlight (that I still have somewhere), a couple of MG badges (one of which had a magnet on the back), and two packs of Lucky Strikes. This was back in high school, so the badges have since disappeared and my folks confistickated the Luckies.

Distressingly, when I took the spare tire out of the trunk of my Miata for the first time (after about six years of ownership), I found two old copies of <span style="font-style: italic">Cosmopolitan</span> and (slightly less distressingly) a Victoria's Secret catalog. The one with Heidi Klum on the cover.

What were we talking about?

I once had a 72 Rover I had purchased from an individual in Maine who had it improted from Scotland.

The back flooring was repaired using signs taken from UK roadsides.

One pair of Earings ( not mine or my SO's
Receipt to a Mr. Sand from Amex Travellers Cheques (Original LBC owner in Vancouver B.C. perhaps)
 
My TR3 had several interesting items in the glovebox. Old gas receipts from the late '60s-early '70s, S&H green stamps, and a roll of friction tape. The best items though were the original hanging tags explaining how to use the emergency brake, to release the handbrake "Pull lever back smartly & release grip. Do not press button." The other tag explains what type of oil was in the engine sump, what to use if necessary to replenish, and to change it before the first 1000 miles. It also has info on rear axle and gearbox oil change. On the back are explanations of same in French, Spanish and German.
They are lightly soiled, but otherwise in excellent condition.
There was a very soiled tag still hanging on the steering column at time of purchase, but before I realized it was probably original, it was gone. Probably had to do with maintaining steering box.
Also included is the original owner's manual with the date June 24, 1960. Probably the sale date. Kind of interesting bits of history.
 
My barn-find 1953 XK120 Coupe had the skeleton and fur of a oppusum inside and another under it.

My 1991 XJ-S arrived from the dealer where it had been traded in, with an unopened box of 50 9mm bullets in the trunk.
 
I found a nice Omega watch in the LaDawri...

And my brother found a drag chute in the Vixen???
He sold it on E-bay for several hundred $
(apparently it was some collectible thing from years ago)
