Does anyone remember this?

The wonders of YouTube - I get sucked into the rabbit hole of videos. Ran between Detroit and Cleveland 1952 - 1962 but laid up until 1987.

Interesting! Thank you for sharing!

I have taken the SS Badger across Lake Michigan a few times - similar, but much simpler ship. A fun journey; a highlight of summer for my daughters and I.

I took the Badger to the 50th anniversary of Square Bodied Sprites at Elkhart Lake in 2011. There were a few Spridgets onboard. And it was indeed a great trip

We took a round trip on the Badger last summer. We really enjoyed it and it was a great experience for the young ’uns!

the Great Lakes are truly a delight and should be explored by all!

Grew up spending summers on Lake Erie, learned to sail and ski as a kid. Even skied in Ashtabula Harbor, have a couple photos somewhere here of the Edmund Fitzgerald at port there. 1965 IIRC.
